Welcome to Friuli Venezia Giulia
Friuli is the region of polyphony, of open, liquid voices that go far, mixed in a sweet harmony and in a sequence of agreements that are both incomprehensible to the southernmost Italians, and above all it is the region of cultural, linguistic influences and music that come from northern Europe. It is a lovable and fertile land, where there is an abundance of wine and food, where falling in love is easy, where people stay for many hours in cafes, combining voices in songs that are kind and vague, square and sweet in the Austrian way , Slavic style – they join the voices in long, sweet chords, with drunken tears of wine and pleasure.
